We are looking for a skilled Insulation Technician to join Fox Pest Control. The ideal candidate will be responsible for installing, repairing, and maintaining insulation systems that improve energy efficiency and help deter pests. This role requires a keen eye for detail, strong problem-solving abilities, and the capacity to work independently or collaboratively.

Day in the life of an Insulation Technician: As an Insulation Technician at Fox Pest Control, your day starts with a team meeting to review schedules and gather materials. You'll travel to various job sites, inspecting and installing insulation to improve energy efficiency and prevent pest entry. Your tasks include measuring, cutting, and applying insulation materials, often working in confined spaces. Effective communication with clients and team members is crucial. After completing your work, you'll conduct final inspections and clean up the job site. The day ends with paperwork and a team debrief, ensuring all tasks are completed to the highest standards.

Essential Functions  

• Install various insulation materials on walls, floors, ceilings, and other structures to enhance energy efficiency and pest prevention.
• Measure and cut insulation materials to fit specific spaces and shapes accurately.
• Apply sealants and adhesives to ensure proper insulation and prevent air leaks and pest entry points.
• Inspect and assess existing insulation systems for damage, inefficiency, or pest infestations and recommend appropriate solutions.
• Follow safety protocols and guidelines to ensure a safe working environment.
• Maintain accurate records of work performed and materials used.
• Communicate effectively with clients, contractors, and team members to ensure project success.

 Qualifications  

• A high school diploma or equivalent, as well as technical or vocational training in insulation or a related field, is preferred.
• Proven experience as an Insulation Technician or similar role, preferably with a focus on pest control.
• Knowledge of various insulation materials and installation techniques.
• Ability to read and interpret blueprints and technical drawings.
• Strong physical stamina and the ability to work in confined spaces and at heights.
• Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
• Must be 21 or older for insurance purposes
• Must have a valid driver's license and be authorized to work in the US
